Vornado AQS35 Air Purifier Review

The Vornado AQS35 Air Purifier is one of the most sophisticated air
purifiers on offer from the company. We cannot compare it with the
regular run-of-the-mill air purifiers.
Once you have brought it home the initial installation and plugging in
is simple and you will breeze through that process. The device comes
with two filters. We have the pre-filter first followed by the HEPA
(High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor) filter. While the pre-filter
protects the HEPA from being saturated with bigger particles, the HEPA
does the finer work of purifying air from dust, pet dander, pollen, and
other allergens. Though the pre-filter needs to be replaced in every 3
to 4 months the HEPA filter will last up to 2 years. It is also
interesting to learn that the efficiency of the HEPA filter increases
with time. So it will trap more particulate matter 2 weeks later than
it would when it is brand new.
The Vornado AQS35 is good enough to work for a room of size 20 ft by 20
ft or over an area of 400 sq. ft. Now although this isn't the most that
air purifiers can cover, but is generally enough for a room as a single
room is hardly larger than that. With a sleek and contemporary design
it is also pretty light and can be comfortably moved around inside a
room or to a separate room.
Compared to other HEPA purifiers it is relatively quiet. Generally it
is the fan inside the filter used to draw in air which makes all the
noise. But the special design of the blades keeps the noise levels
down. There are also 5 speed levels for the fan to work on instead of
the regular three. This gives you more freedom in choosing the fan
speed and also helps you to conserve power.
The purifier also comes with a filter replacement indicator and so you
need not worry about when to change the filter. You would be told by
the unit itself when it is time. This saves you the trouble from
regularly changing the state of the filters. And the timing of the
change will be more accurate - neither too early nor too late.
This model from Vornado at the price which it comes in is definitely a
worthwhile investment. In fact this is the best thing you can get in
the market at the price you pay.
